Day 54 of Raw - Delicious Himalayan Salt!

We use only Himalayan salt now instead of regular table salt.

It's incredible how much taste difference there is in plain old regular table salt and Himalayan salt. I always figured salt just tastes...well, salty. Boy was I wrong. Himalayan salt has ... I don't know.. a kind of a refreshing taste to it. A clear, vibrant taste. I really don't know how to put it into words..LOL!

We were at a kitchen store yesterday and talking to the people that run the store. The subject of Himalayan salt came up and they all agreed the taste difference is really amazing. Once you taste the difference you won't go back to the bleached chemical laden table salt you've been used to, believe me. Not only for health reasons but also for taste reasons!

We've had a lot of requests to carry Himalayan salt and now we do! You can get it in our CenterPoint store and pretty soon we will carry it online in our Spirit Quest Store. It's pretty cheap compared to many stores and places you'll find. Whole Foods carries a small bag for about $13, I think it was.

Ours is packaged in a reusable, air tight, snap lid container and comes with a small porcelain spoon. You get 12 oz. for $14.00 ... and here's a GREAT deal... bring back your original reusable, empty container and get 12 oz. refills for only $7.00!!

We also now carry Himalayan Bath Salts. You get 3 pounds of bath salts in a soft cotton drawstring bag. You can toss a handful to melt in your tub or you can dip the whole bag in your bathwater and take it out and hang it up to let the water drain out and use it over and over again until all the salts are gone. The bag of bath salts is $10.00. When you get out of the tub your skin will feel soft and silky smooth... perfect, as one of our friends said... to go jump in your jammys and sleep like a baby all night long! :)
